Consulting Engineering is one of the fastest growing segment of the business services sector in New Brunswick. Consulting engineering is an important contributor to the provincial economy because it pays better-than-average salaries and wages, employs a highly educated workforce and helps retain technical school and university graduates in the Province. In addition, the consulting engineering industry generates significant export revenue while retaining approximately 95% of revenues earned in Province.

ACEC-NB member consulting engineering firms employ over 1200 highly skilled engineers and technicians, generated in excess of $100 million in revenue while completing $1 billion in capital construction annually.
