2021 Engineering Awards Gala
New Brunswick Consulting Engineers Shine at the 24th Annual Engineering Excellence Awards Gala
If ever there were any doubt about the societal contributions of the engineering industry, one just needs to attend the annual ACEC-NB Engineering Excellence Awards, the nine submissions this year ranged from completing a strategic corridor study for one of the most important transportation corridors in the region, the emergency replacement of a road due to a collapse, a project to remove point source pollution impacting the water quality of a lake and the replacement of undersea cables in an environmentally sensitive area. The ACEC-NB Engineering Excellence Awards gala was held on November 19, 2021 at the Crowne Plaza in Fredericton and is recognized as the industry's highest honours, the awards are presented to projects by New Brunswick consulting engineering firms that showcase the most remarkable engineering feats. “These awards provide the opportunity to recognize the valuable contributions that consulting engineers make to our communities” said ACEC-NB Executive Director Christy Cunningham. “They bring focus to the important role that these projects, and consulting engineers in general, have on the social, economic and environmental quality of life of all New Brunswickers.” John Flewelling Honoured for Achievement at New Brunswick Consulting Engineering Awards
