2022 Engineering Awards Gala
New Brunswick consulting engineers are continuing the tradition of excellence in Atlantic Canada!
RJ Bartlett Engineering Ltd, is the Pinnacle Award Winner of the 2022 New Brunswick Engineering Excellence Awards presented by the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies – New Brunswick (ACEC-NB) at its annual Awards Gala.
The Pinnacle Award is the top ranked entry deemed to demonstrate consulting engineering excellence by the 2022 judging panel and RJ Bartlett Engineering Ltd. are recognized for their work on the Memorial University of Newfoundland’s Core Science Facility. This facility is a spectacular piece of architecture that joins three pavilions by two five storey atria spaces. In their capacity as a subconsultant Fire Protection Engineering specialist, the most notable achievement was assisting the design team with their vision of “science on display” via transparent floor layouts.
In addition, the Association announced four other Engineering Excellence Awards, one Power of Collaboration award, a President’s Award and Young Professionals Award.

Receiving the President’s Award is Michael Gillis, P.Eng for his lifetime contribution to the advancement of the consulting engineering profession and industry in New Brunswick.
Receiving the Young Professionals Award is Lucas Storey, P.Eng, for his contribution and excellence in the consulting engineering industry, leadership within their company and community as well as demonstrating excellence in consulting business practices.
